I'm shooting a feature and my DP wants to skip bleach in the negative processing. du art, cfi and the giants don't do it.
Know of a reliable one that does?
We have a skip bleach process here at TFG (FILM GR
OUP) for ECN II-neg.
processing. The process is consistant and predictable. However, skip bleach will leave
your negative unstable for long term storage. Please give me a call and I
can tell you more about the process. Most West Coast labs will skip bleach on the print process but not on the
negative. Skip bleach neg and skip bleach print yield different results.
Negative skip is more dramatic in terms of contrast range and color
variances. Our process is Neg. skip bleach.

Film Editing Equipment
I'm looking to buy some 16mm editing equipment..I'm assuming I need a splicer, a viewer, a sync block and a rewind. Is this all?

What is the difference between film editors and splicers? Can I edit with just a
